MyShp (“we”, “us”) provides a hosted product catalog and hands orders to WhatsApp. This policy covers the MyShp website, the seller dashboard and the public catalog pages. It applies to two groups of people: sellers who create stores, and customers who browse a store’s catalog.

1. Information we collect

From sellers

• Account details — the email address and name you sign up with, used to authenticate you and secure your account.
• Store details — your store name, public link, description, the WhatsApp number you set to receive orders, and your chosen theme and settings.
• Product content — the names, prices, categories, descriptions and images you upload. Images are stored on a content delivery network so your catalog loads quickly.

From customers (through a store’s catalog)

• Order contents — the products, quantities and totals in a cart. This is assembled into the WhatsApp message that is handed to the seller, and is not used by us to profile customers.
• Details the seller asks for — for example a name, phone number or delivery note, when a seller includes those fields at checkout. These travel to the seller in the order message.

Automatically, from everyone

• Technical and usage data — basic information such as page views and anonymous, aggregate event counts that help us keep the service reliable. We do not sell this data.

2. How we use information

• To provide the service: hosting catalogs, building order messages and delivering them to sellers.
• To authenticate sellers and keep their accounts and data secure.
• To operate, maintain and improve the product, including understanding aggregate usage.
• To respond to support and contact requests you send us.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited items and seller restrictions

To keep MyShp safe and trusted for buyers, sellers, and the communities we serve, we enforce a strict policy against listing, advertising, or selling inappropriate, unsafe, or illegal items. Stores found listing prohibited products will be immediately suspended or permanently terminated without prior notice.

You are strictly prohibited from listing, displaying, or selling:

• Illegal drugs and controlled substances — narcotics, prescription-only medicines without verified legal dispensing licenses, unapproved pharmaceuticals, recreational drugs, or drug paraphernalia.
• Weapons, firearms and dangerous items — firearms, ammunition, explosive devices, fireworks, military equipment, blades designed for harm, or hazardous and toxic chemicals.
• Adult, sexually explicit and non-consensual content — pornography, sexual or escort services, adult novelties, non-consensual imagery, or exploitative media of any kind.
• Counterfeits, replicas and IP infringements — unauthorized copies of branded apparel, fake luxury goods, bootleg recordings, pirated software, or any goods that infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
• Stolen property, fraud and financial schemes — stolen goods, forged documents, fake IDs, counterfeit banknotes, lottery tickets, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent financial services.
• Regulated wildlife, animal parts and endangered flora — ivory, endangered animals, protected wild flora, or live animals prohibited from trade.
• Hate speech and violent materials — products promoting discrimination, violence, hate speech, terrorism, racial intolerance, or harassment against any individual or group.
• Unlicensed age-restricted products — tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping liquids, alcoholic beverages, or gambling products where unlawful or lacking proper jurisdictional licensing.

We actively review public catalogs and respond to abuse reports. We reserve the right to remove non-compliant content immediately, permanently ban offending accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities where unlawful activity is detected.

4. WhatsApp and third parties

MyShp does not operate its own messaging network. When a customer sends an order, the message is composed and handed to WhatsApp, which then delivers it to the seller under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. Once the conversation has moved to WhatsApp, it is between the seller and the customer.

We use trusted service providers to run MyShp, including providers for authentication and database hosting, image storage and delivery, and application hosting. These providers process data only on our instructions and only as needed to deliver the service.

5. Cookies and similar technology

We use the minimum necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across the web.

6. Retention

We keep store and account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep records longer by law.

7. Security

Access to seller data is restricted so that a seller can only read their own store. We use encryption in transit, access controls and industry-standard hosting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to tell you promptly if something goes wrong.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Sellers can update much of their information from the dashboard, and can request deletion from the account settings. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

MyShp is a business tool and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International transfers

Our providers may store data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, let sellers know.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MyShp. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use MyShp.

1. What MyShp is — and is not

MyShp lets you publish a hosted product catalog and turn a filled cart into a structured order message that is delivered through WhatsApp to the seller’s chosen number.

MyShp is not a payment processor, a marketplace or a delivery service. We do not process payments, hold funds, guarantee fulfilment, or take part in the sale between a seller and their customer. Payments, pricing, delivery, returns and any disputes are handled directly between the seller and the customer.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and stores.
• You must be old enough to enter a binding contract to use MyShp for business.

3. Your content and licence

You keep ownership of the products, images, text and other content you upload. You grant MyShp a limited licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and provide the service — for example, to serve your catalog and its images to the customers you share it with.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law.

4. Acceptable use and prohibited items

You agree not to use MyShp to list, promote, or sell any illegal, harmful, or inappropriate items. Specifically, you may not list:

• Controlled substances, prescription medicines without authorization, or narcotics.
• Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosive devices, or hazardous toxic materials.
• Adult, pornographic, sexually explicit, or non-consensual merchandise and services.
• Counterfeit merchandise, pirated software, replicas, or copyright/trademark infringements.
• Stolen property, counterfeit currency, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive practices.
• Regulated animal parts, ivory, endangered species, or protected wild flora.
• Content promoting hate speech, terrorism, violence, harassment, or discrimination.
• Unlicensed tobacco, vaping goods, alcohol, or gambling services.

We may immediately suspend or remove any store that breaches these rules, or that we reasonably believe puts MyShp, its users, or the public at risk.

5. Free plan and limits

MyShp offers a free plan with limits, such as a maximum number of images per store, which are enforced when you upload. We may change plan features and limits, and will give reasonable notice of material changes.

6. Orders, payments and fulfilment

Orders are messages, not contracts with MyShp. When a customer sends an order, it is the seller’s responsibility to confirm it, agree payment and delivery terms, and fulfil it. MyShp does not verify sellers, products or customers, and does not guarantee that any order will be completed.

7. Third-party services

MyShp relies on third-party services, including WhatsApp for messaging, and providers for hosting, databases and image delivery. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

8. Intellectual property

The MyShp name, logo, software and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or software beyond the right to use the service as described.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep MyShp available and reliable, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis and do not promise uninterrupted service. We may modify, add or remove features over time.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyShp disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyShp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

12. Termination

You may stop using MyShp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. On termination, the licence you granted us to host your content ends, subject to any retention required by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify sellers.
